James Sprunt Community College is excited to partner with Eastpoint Behavioral Health as well as the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina this month to celebrate recovery – recovery from addictions, substance abuse, physical abuse, and recovery from loss – during the Community Resource Fair on September 23 from 11 am – 1 pm in the lobby of the Boyette Building.

The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina will be distributing 10-12 pallets of food during the Resource Fair to students, faculty, and staff with a valid JSCC ID.

The Community Resource Fair will also feature programs available to students from the following agencies and services: Eastpointe Behavioral Health, Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, Duplin Christian Outreach Ministries, the Division of Public Health – Oral Health Division, Mobile Crisis, and Fellowship Hall.

Free cupcakes will be given out during the event, provided by Eastpointe Behavioral Health. Students will also be able to receive a free blood pressure check and talk with counselors if needed.
