Just a reminder that we only have 4 more weeks left in the 2019 filing season. We have two options for free tax preparation services for you to utilize. Free Tax Preparation is for all faculty, staff, students and members of the community. Please feel free to share with anyone you know that may benefit from this service.

VITA: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program

We have tax preparers certified by the IRS to prepare and file your taxes for free. You can drop off your information Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 6:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 12:00pm in the Student Success Center, Hoffler Building, Room 105. Once you drop off your information your return will be prepared and you will receive a call to come back and review and sign your return.

Tax Time Allies Program

If your annual income is $66,000 or less, you may qualify to file your taxes for free and can do that right from the comfort of your own home or on campus at the computer lab in the Student Success Center!

Through a partnership with Single Stop, you have the option of completing your taxes for free using a self-guided tax link that is specifically for students from our college.   Before you get started, you will be asked to complete a short survey in which all questions are optional for some basic demographic information.

You can access free tax preparation by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/jscctax2019
