JSCC provides many services to our students to help ensure they are successful. Single Stop is a program designed where students can come to receive assistance with non-academic needs that if left unmet could cause them to drop out of school. A screening and assessment is completed which will show if a student is eligible for services such as food and nutrition services, work first, cash assistance, transportation, health care etc. Referrals will also be made to agencies that meet other needs students may have. Single Stop offers free tax preparation as well as free legal and financial counseling. We encourage all students to complete the screening even if they already receive some services. It has no negative impact on any services they already receive.
